AMP Futures have advised via email (5th May) that they now have the FULL version including the social interaction component.

I assume this is the same version that Optimus Futures are also supplying.

Just logged into my Live account using TradingView.Same issues are still present for me. I use Tick/Volume charts and they are not options available. VWAP is also not an available indicator. I don't see the social options either, though I probably wouldn't use those anyway. It's a shame the AMP-subsidized version is not full-featured.

Attached is the screen grab of their email I received. Go to AMP web site and log onto 'Online Chat' and ask them why you are not getting full version (maybe they need to 'throw a switch' or something).

Hey I know this is a bit late now, but are you sure you can't see VWAP, tick or volume data? I'm not sure if you mean regular volume bars btw but I know VWAP and TICK exist - I've been using it since day one.

For VWAP, you should be able to click on indicators and search for it. For TICK chart, you have to search for it in symbols. If you click on any chart space and start typing, it will bring up the dialog box for symbols. Make sure you are looking under ALL, or Index tab otherwise it will not show the options. Pick the "NYSE TICK Cumulative".

I was going to post a link to a screenshot of my setup at TradingView but given this is my second post, I can't post links/images yet. It showed how I have ES 5min, 1min with VWAP and then Advance Decline chart with TICK chart embedded into a section of that chart. (You have to be a Pro member to use multiple chart setup though - without the pic it's hard to see what I mean, but that's a total of 3 charts/sections on the screen).

I love that everything is auto-saved into the cloud as I make any changes. I work full time so any changes/drawings I make before going to work, I am able to see it at work in the browser, without having to install any software on work machine .

The only negative thing I can say about TradingView at the moment, is that currently they haven't set up a system for bracket orders. You have to manually cancel any Stops or Limits that remain after you are taken out of your trade. It's a slight pain in the butt because it's one more thing to monitor, but it could be disaster for someone who doesn't pay proper attention or walks away from the computer for too long (depending on trade style). However their support has mostly been prompt and they said they know that and are working on something.

By the way, I'm just putting it out here so everyone can see the latest on TradingView - It's full featured now.

I've just logged in again, with my AMP Live account. I still do not see VWAP. After 'Volume' is 'Volume Oscillator' then 'Williams %R'. No VWAP. When I click on the Symbol for Candlesticks, the only options are Bars, Candles, Hollow Candles, Line, Area and Heiken Ashi. If I go to TradingView's widget site https://www.tradingview.com/widget/, I can see Renko, Kagi and Point & Figure Charts. I can also see VWAP. I think it's a problem with my account.

metalhe4der,

Are you using amp.tradingview.com?

metalhe4der,

Are you using amp.tradingview.com?

This email response from AMP might clarify the situation:

Quoting
Yes, there are now 4 Versions of TradingView Available for AMP customers to trade live

1) AMP’s Free Version – charting and live trading

2) These 3 - https://www.tradingview.com/gopro/ - which the monthly price is set and paid directly to TradingView

Live & Demo AMP/CQG credentials are used in all 4 versions - to allow for real-time charting and trading

Based on the customers features wanted - is which version they use.

Also with the AMP/CQG credentials (in all 4 versions) - AMP Customers get real-time data for all exchanges enabled on their AMP/CQG credentials, so they do not need to pay the exchange fees again....
if you scroll down on the same page - AVAILABLE MARKETS - you will see they list exchange fee pricing, so if AMP customers have CME bundle enabled on their live AMP trading account – they will get all the CME bundle markets/exchange in real-time on TradingView without have to pay additional monthly exchange fees.

I guess I incorrectly assumed the AMP version was TradingView's full featured version out of the box. Thanks for the clarification!

I had only tried amp.tradingview.com once; but because I was already a long time user of TradingView beforehand (just for their charting and stuff), I took my CQG login and plugged it into the main website's trading panel.

If you don't have one, create a user account at tradingview.com and then sign into your CQG through Trading Panel. It should allow you to 'verify' your real time data for you there too I think; and then you're good to go. You'll find most of their features available for free, but if you need extras like volume profile (I did), then you'll need to go with their Pro Plus account. I think there are some other chart types that are restricted to pro versions too though - check their Pro subscription features.

IMO it's worth the extra dough for me to get access to features I need on a powerful enough cloud platform that I can use from my work computer. Plenty of people can do without the extras .

I’ve been using TradingView for a while and really like the interface, so to be able to execute trades through it would be the perfect setup for me. Having CQC data feed is a bonus as the data subscription costs through Trading View are very expensive. As an existing TradingView PRO user I’m glad to see that all the features are intact when logged in through the Trading Panel – makes for a very nice setup.

However, can anybody confirm whether you can execute trades by selecting the desired instrument from the Watchlist to bring up the associated Trading Panel? From what I can determine by logging in via my CQG demo credentials, the Trading Panel is only associated with the active/selected chart.

As of right now, you can only trade through the highlighted chart. The trading bar is linked to the specific highlighted chart. The watch list is more of a toggle function for your charts than a trading list. The best solution I can think of currently would be using a multiple chart layout with specific instruments you want to trade in your session, and toggling back and forth between highlighting the particular instrument. There is a full screen mode that can assist you on the top middle part of your chart with 4 outward pointing arrows directed towards the corners.

You can gain contact with us if you need further help. We have hooked up CQG to TradingView and servicing customers currently.
