Hello, I am looking to move from TD Ameritrade to Interactive Brokers to take my trading to the next level. The default IB platform is not ideal in my opinion.

Can someone provide a list, or point me in the right direction, of platforms that work with Interactive Brokers?

Thanks, cheers.

Under https://gdcdyn.interactivebrokers.com/Universal/servlet/MarketPlace.MarketPlaceServlet IB's Software Vendors section provides links to third-party vendors who have "potentially complementary software programs to expand the functionality of Trader Workstation (TWS)".

There you will find many well-known software (e.g. NT, SC, MC) and some other as well.

Just use IB for your execution and thinkorswim for all of the options analysis features that you like.

I now have an IB account and have been testing TWS and other integrations. I really like trading from a DOM and haven't seen this functionality from IB. I see in your profile you use Ninjatrader?

TWS has a "DOM" of its own, but for a usable NT DOM you need a real-time data feed (other than the snapshot data from IB);
IB is only your execution destination.

Thanks, I found it. It's called BookTrader. Unfortunately it looks quite outdated and I'm not sure that'd work for me!

What I really like about IB (Interactive Brokers) is that it's a very large and established broker vs some of these others mentioned on the forum that are privately held. I will take MC, NT for a demo this week. Any others I should consider?

Appreciate the insights.

I use Ninjatrader for automated futures trading. I don't use a DOM.
