Chebyshev trend formula

I watched a video of an IPAD trading software. Below is a screenshot of presenter showing some indicator.

Please register on futures.io to view futures trading content such as post attachment(s), image(s), and screenshot(s).

Presenter diggs the platform and there is an indicator named Chebyshev Trend.

I googled it but could not find any info. If you have encountered this somewhere and share information about how this is computed I will be grateful. It does not matter which platform.

Thanks in advance...

It is probably a polynomial regression channel that uses a Chebychev polynom. For basic information see here:

Chebyshev polynomials - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A polynomial regression channel is typically retrofitted to the last N bars.

You can find a polynomial regression channel indicator for NinjaTrader here:

I believe that the Chebychev trend uses a similar formula.

Thanks for the reply. Are buy sell points in the link I have given also part of chebyshev polynomials or some other indicator? It seems like trailing stop to me.

Looks like crossovers from a moving average / parabolic stop.
