Do any one of these platforms mentioned above allow order modifications after order is open? For stop loss, trailing, etc?

Maybe I've miss understood you but doesn't every platform allow you to modify an order?

I haven't made the jump yet to any of these platforms, still trading WTI and Ngas via CFD's on MT4.

If you mean whether open orders could be modified after you initiated a position, the answer is yes.

You also have the ability to set trailing stops.

Thank you,

Which specific platform you would like to know about as far as trailing stops? Any of them?

Don't tell TT that as they're phasing out their serious trader platform for the new web one!

Few people embrace change. I believe Henry Ford once said that if he gave the people what they asked for, it would have been a faster horse instead of a car.

Innovation is messy sometimes. I can relate somewhat as FIO will be going through a migration to the new framework, and while superior in most every way, a lot of people will oppose it simply because they dislike change.

I understand some features you want may not be implemented yet in TT. Hopefully soon, or come at it from a different angle.

Honestly trailing stops aren't that important to me as much as stop loss. I think some of these platforms (on demo at least) don't have the ability to set them. As long as I know they do on live then it's fine.

.

I am a bit surprised that you could not find it on a few of them(?), buy yes, they all have the stop-loss function in live trading.

Seems to me you are a beginner to futures so keep in mind: The placement of contingent orders such as a “stop-loss” or “stop-limit” order, will not necessarily limit your losses to the intended amounts, since market conditions may make it impossible to execute such orders.

Thanks,

Unless there is a herd that is starting to use the "new", and then everything you used before is all of a sudden worthless.
