I ran X_trader on a dedicated machine and was happy to make Windows fit around the software.

As TT target the retail market this may become more of an issue.

Anyway, unless somebody comes-up with a panacea to this issue, I will continue trading with Sierrachart and Multicharts.Net instead, both of which, especially the former, I have come to like quite a lot.

Not trying to change the subject too much but what do you want to use it for?

XTrader and most other retail trading systems are very different. While XTraders low latency, DOM etc may be industry standard setting their charting system XStudy won't win any awards (although I here there are some very major changes coming on this soon). On the other hand their Autospreader, Autotrader and ADL are industry leaders.

If your looking for the Algo/Spreader tools I would seriously recommend you retry XTrader. If your looking to trade based upon chart technical's their advantage is less clear.
