Just registered recently and thought I would pose a question to this group. I recently met a guy in a stock market chat room who said he uses footprint charts as the basis of his trading decisions. Even though I have been trading for 40 years, I had never heard of footprint charts. I have done a little research and found the Market Delta website and a couple of others that talk about footprint charts. The only place I have found that has a platform with footprints is Market Delta. Today I was advised by this recent acqaintance to check with a Ukranian company called Volfix which offers a platform with footprints and a lot of other unique features. I plan to send them an e-mail this weekend to check them out. They have a website with some info and videos but it is all in Ukranian which I don't speak or read. Does anyone know of this company or their platform?
Footprint charts are available in multiple platforms, including Market Delta, Sierra Chart, NinjaTrader. No one except Market Delta calls them Footprint charts as it is a trademarked name, but others refer to it as the Volume Ladder or Numbers Bars.
