I have spent a couple of days trying to find if there is on the market a piece of software that can scan predefined prices on a tic chart (or even scan for a predefined period on a tic chart) for chart patterns for forex, spot or currency futures.
There is software out there like Autochartist, but its earliest timeframe is 15 minutes....and probably the nearest I can get to is Wave59, but here it can only go down to 1 minute currently.
Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I think it is not clear what you try to achieve ....
Do you look for alerts if a price level is hit?
Do you want to analyze price over a period?
Do you want to check for some pattern?
Do you want to watch a basket of instruments?
Do you want to enter or exit trades based on that information?
Best you post a sample chart, which includes the signals that you look for and which shows the trades you want to enter or exit based on those signals.
Yeah I want to analyze price over a period....for possible recurring patterns. But off a tic chart and for forex to begin with. Trying to avoid eyeballing if possible hence the software/scanner option.
