Currently I'm using paper money on the ThinkorSwim platform and it's great! The only problem I have is I can't get approved to trade FOREX through TDAmeritrade. So my question is are there any other platforms that are similar for Mac? I can get approved to trade on FOREX.com but I don't like their web based platform.

Thanks,
Mike

Might try Oanda, never used them, but consensus seems to be they are one of the best forex dealers (i.e. they don't rip you off) and they offer a mac version.

TWS with Interactive Brokers maybe ?
Or use a good Windows emulator on the Mac itself, or a VPS.

Voting for IB with the special Forex API (built in).
If you need charts InvestorRT from Linnsoft might be the solution.
Data from DTN recommended for automated backfills.
Costs are there for the services but the combination runs
very smoothly on a Mac and support is excellent.

Try LMAX. Their web interface is really good.
