Mike has asked, if CQG IC has range bar charts. Answer was no. Not correct, IC does have range bar charts. You just select TFlow as a chart type and range as periodicity.

Once can build range bars on CQG IC without too much difficulty. Tflow with price range aggregation will give you good chart. Then you can apply your indicators, set your conditions and alerts and trade off of them.

@ysterk
Any plans to integrate the cumulative delta studies into the IC?

I'm listening to the webinar and would like to make some additions to answers provided by Virgil. There was a question about depth of historical tick data available on CQG. By default Integrated Client users have access to 90- days worth of tick data, but for those traders interested in deeper history additional data packages can be purchased. We have tick data going back to January 2000 for those who needs that much depth.

There was also a question on OCO orders and where they are being help - client or the server side. The answer is - on the server. CQG trade routing server will hold all of the OCO orders, so no matter what happens with client computer or network from client to the server side the OCO chains will continue to function.
BTW, you can OCO orders together that belong to different markets, not only limit and stops like was shows during the webinar. You also can build larger chains of OCO, so they are not limited to 2 orders only.

Yes, there were several erroneous answers given. I think you should organize another webinar, the last one didn't do your product justice.

I will try to provide answers or additions here as much as I can. So far I hant heard or any errors, just incomplete. If there is a need to do another webinar I am sure we will be able to organize it in the future.

Mike asked excellent question about various order types and whether they are supported by CQG products. We have several different ways to provide them. One - user can build their own order type using CQG API and then expose it on the latter or order ticket next to the "standard" order types. When this order type is created and registered with CQG IC (algo order builder is only available in Integrated client) trader may then place an order using this order type, CQG will then pass this order with all of its parameters to the algo code written by the user and will listen to the signals coming out of this code. This is a great way to get complex strategies executed similar to the smart bracketing, or automatic hedging of a position upon a fill, etc.
Algo order builder does require programming skills and can be programed in different programing languages of your choice - C++, C#, VB, etc. CQG has support staff who can help with questions users run into.

Another point is that we are in a process of releasing API for the CQGTrader. It is still in Beta, if any one of the readers is interesting in giving it a spin (free of charge until it is post beta) please drop me a private message and we will work with your FCM to make it available to you. You need to be CQGTrader user in order to use its API .
