this are the bars I use on my own trading... they eliminate a lot of noise for me, and I find them better than renko bars.. IMO of course... here are some examples of using Midrange bars on various instruments.. and then compared to other bar types.. you be your own judge and determine if you find them better or not..

simple setups... TLA's that I use for multiple HTF guidance... volume indi... Parabolic... and MF, which I find of use to help me with my bias..

you can compare the midrange bars to the mom bars.. all comparisons will be done against NQ..

I find Midrange bars specially useful on my short-term (intraday) options trading... yes, the "big" money on options is made on the long swings, but I have a short attention span and I rather do 100 contracts of something ATM or OTM for which I dont have to worry too much about theta risk..

here is a comparison of midrange on USO against a time bar..

please note that one cant trade options on this platform... actually, correction.. one can trade options on futures via TT FIX API.. I use Tradevec as the charting platform when doing options.

They look like a line break chart with HeikenAshi ontop, this is on Ninja

pay more attention to the image details... the chart covers the whole day, not 1 hour... also, dont use GC, use NQ to compare... I will pull up GC even though I dont trade metals.
