They look like a line break chart with HeikenAshi ontop, this is on Ninja

here is GC, I didnt see enough volume on Sept Contract, so I picked August... I think 1 tick would be a bit aggressive to trade, so I used what I would trade if I was doing metals.. 5 ticks.. I dont know enough about GC to provide any opinions.. so take things with a grain of salt..

what day and time did you used? not sure of your timezone, so I could not match the timeframes exactly, if you let me know I can carry the exercise as I would be interested on doing comparisons against other exotic bars..

ok, that didnt help me much, sorry... the times we are using should match, but the contruction of the LBR with HA on top seems to be different from what Midrange does...

I would rather say:

Midrange Bars (on TraderVec) = Median Renko and/or Hybrid Renko (on NT)

this are the bars I use on my own trading... they eliminate a lot of noise for me, and I find them better than renko bars.. IMO of course... here are some examples of using Midrange bars on various instruments.. and then compared to other bar types.. you be your own judge and determine if you find them better or not..

simple setups... TLA's that I use for multiple HTF guidance... volume indi... Parabolic... and MF, which I find of use to help me with my bias..

Is there an explanation of what exactly this bartype aims to accomplish? I mean does TradeVec describe it in some way?

Mike
