Hi and hello futures.io (formerly BMT)-Forum

i am using Marketdelta for my trading, some may call it orderflow trading. Beside Marketprofile and the (Footprint) chart, i always have an eye on T&S. No indicators, not even an MA.

And as i am getting older maybe it is time to get some help from the machine, so i am looking for a platform to automate my trading. Or at least give it a try ;-)

Marketdelta is able to produce signals and backtest a strategy, but is not able to trade that signals.

Do you have any ideas?

Best

Well, you should have some programming skills to do that, but you can use the Gom "family" indicators to replicate Market Delta with NinjaTrader. With NinjaTrader you can automate your trades, using any strategy based on Market Delta...

Not easy, but it can be done!

I think you need to do more research Market Delta can auto trade the signals(depends on the version), also you can send those signals to Ninja and generate orders via oif.

Sierra charts has decent automated trading capabilities with good access to order flow information. The problem I found with NT is it doesn't provide historical bid/ask information (unless you use something like GOM as suggested ... but that just makes things more complicated).

Tradestation is a non-starter in this respect. Mostly because you cannot programmatically see if a trade hit the bid or offer.

NinjaTrader can do what you want in real time but can't really be used to backtest.
