Sold the ESF C2190 according to a suggestion of Carley.

Bought back the ESG P1850 with a profit of approx. 50 %.

Sold the ESH P1900 as a replacement.

Currently I feel well with the strangle, but I prefer to buy back the calls sooner than later.

Best regards, Myrrdin

Bought back the ESF C2090 with a loss of approx. 50 %. I do not want to hold the position into tomorrows FOMC meeting.

Best regards, Myrrdin

I'm beginning to think that you can throw out all ES seasonals with a Trump presidency.

FOMC.. 0.25% raise-market will do nothing
0.5% raise or a hint at near future raise may push the market down live we saw election night. Thats when I am hoping to get out of my March C2300-2315 Credit spread.
If they don't do anything( unlikely), market will drop too.
Heard Libor is pointing to 0.5% raise( anyone care to elaborate)?

JUST THINKING OUT LOUD.

I agree, at least for the next couple of months. The effect of Mr. Trump becoming president on the S&P is significantly larger than the effect of seasonals. When the effect of this significant change is priced in, the importance of seasonals might grow again.

I can't resist this headline.

Trump trumps seasonals

Sold a first (of two) lot(s) of the GCM P1000 at an average price of 7.35. I intend to sell further lots between 8 and 10 if given the chance.

Interesting to note that the June contract makes more money per day than the April contract, which I had intended to sell.

Inflation should help that Gold at least keeps ist value.

Best regards, Myrrdin

Sold NGh7p250p230 spread today. I know I am late to the party but I doubt NG is dropping much anytime soon with the cold weather forecast for the rest of Dec.

Surprisingly IM for this spread is only $109. I sold it for $90. Being ultra conservative I am using 10X IM because of the low IM.

If I exit at 50% drop in 30 days the monthly ROI would be 3.0%.

The risky side of me bought NGh7c600 today. We'll see if in next 2 weeks I get enough of a pop in NG to make these long calls make a profit. Three weeks ago they were 0.010. Now they are trading at 0.050.

The risky side of me that bought NG calls lost money and exited yesterday. Long term weather forecasts switched to above normal temps.

I still have on the short put spread. It is at the same price as I entered the position after 6 days held.
