I increased my short positions for the KCU C180 and CTZ C75 to normal position size. COT data for both commodities look bearish, and the USDA Report on Tuesday should reflect the jump in planted acreage for cotton from the June 30th update.

Best regards, Myrrdin

Bought back approx. 50 % of my ES puts with a profit of approx. 40 % to reduce my exposure.

Sold a small lot of the ESU C2200 according to Carleys suggestion.

Best regards, Myrrdin

@myrrdin

Would it be OK if I posted my actual trades?

Yes, of course, I would appreciate it.

Everybody is highly welcome to post and discuss own trades or trade suggestions, regarding short options on futures.

Best regards, Myrrdin

Back to selling ES puts.

Sold EW3v16p1650p1550 spread on 6/29/16 for 3.75. Traded out of them at 1.85 today. 12 days held. Using 6X made 7.4% monthly ROI or 2.9% actual ROI.

I'm still deciding if I want to use this 1 to 1 short to long strategy strikes 100 apart or something else.

Replaced these with EW3v16p1700p1600 spread that I sold for 2.20.

I also have on EW3v6p1675p1575 that I sold on 7/7 for 2.90.

Bought back the cotton calls at a loss of 90 %. The reaction to the USDA report that I expected bearish or neutral was bullish.

Best regards, Myrrdin

Bought back the rest of my ES puts at a profit of 45 %, and sold the EWV P2050 instead.

Sold the ESU C2135 according to a suggestion of Carley.

Both positions approx. have the same value. Thus, I now hold a strangle in the ES.

Best regards, Myrrdin

Coffee hit the stop, and I bought back the call options (U and Z) with a loss of 70 %.

Best regards, Myrrdin
