Carley ( @decarleytrading ) is great. I have had an account there for 2-3 months. Service is excellent when there are issues (there have been a few minor order issues with Gain and the Zaner 360 platform). Carley seems to answer e-mails day and night.

They also can provide a lot of analysis, etc. I don't use them for that, though. It may be valuable stuff I am missing.

Of course, for the extra service, you pay a bit more in commissions, compared to someone like OptionsExpress. But, since DeCarley uses SPAN minimum (and OptionsExpress requires more for some instruments), I can have a contract or two more with DeCarley, and this more than makes up for the commission difference.

Overall, highly recommend. High satisfied.

For someone like me, a complete noobie with options, I appreciate the daily commentary she provides as it helps me learn. I would only recommend it for noobs as once you find your footing you should not take trade advice from anyone, no matter how good they are, their track record, or their intentions.

Platts' Bentek Energy said natural gas delivered to consumers across the U.S. hit 134.3 billion cubic feet per day, surpassing Monday's record 130.4 Bcf/d.

Jack Weixel, director of energy analysis with Bentek, said residential and commercial demand for natural gas this winter, starting Nov. 1, is averaging 43.2 billion cubic feet per day, compared to 36.2 Bcf/day last year, in the same time period.

"On Monday, demand from the power sector, when most of the cold weather was in the middle of the country ... shot up to 30.7 Bcfs from 22.5," from Sunday to Monday, Weixel said. Demand by residential and commercial users, served by gas utilities, jumped about 25 percent between Sunday and Monday, he said.

Record demand Monday and Tuesday tops the record of 122.3 Bcfs set on Jan. 16, 2009.
