Hi Ron99

Do you ever trade spreads . I tried a simulated spread and it seemed hard to close out. I would love to
learn more as my day trading the eminis is not getting the results that I had hoped for. Thanks for your
response.
Richh

Sure. Most times you will have to leg out of the spread. Not enough vol on spreads.

I have moved from selling low priced options and riding to expiration to selling a little further out in time and a little higher premium and then buying them back when the price erosion slows down. Especially ES.

This is a significant video. I have always understood time decay as detailed int he first chart of the video. The second time decay chart reveals some great insights as well as prompt some real questions. Maybe we could look as a study to further solidify and put some real numbers around the idea within the second time decay chart.

My research showed that time decay slowed on ES puts when they got to 0.35. So I am using around there as my exit point now.

Is there a reason to trade ES future options over SP future options?

Does anyone share my thought that OX hasn't made any updates to the CLZ options margin requirements since the past couple of days?

What strike? I just checked 75 puts on SPAN and OX margin is correct. 20% more than SPAN.
