Do you worry at all about the upcoming debt ceiling debate?

Is there really anybody out there who believes

... that the statutory limit will not be lifted in the end with that track record?

... that these debts will ever be paid off?

My worry is that political sides (pro-trump/anti-Trump) are so polarized that this may be used for some power play, which may create fear, uncertainty, & doubt.
I am not in the US, so my impression is definitively skewed on that.

Still pending on my trade opened on 7/24. The rate of decay has been painfully slow this time around and I'm quickly approaching 40 days out. At this point I'm debating just taking what profit I have and exit... Opened at 3.7 and currently the position is at 2.1.

Can you send me a screenshot of the chart? when you entered, what credit you received, and how many days out from selling to expiration on the contract.

Yes me to, my ES 2020P/1800P spread is now 49 DTE. Due to the increase in volatility it did not lose much value.
But now it is decaying quickly, and unless there is not another spike in volatility, I assume I will reach the target next week.

This article needs to be read by every new trader. And then reread every year.

Do seasonal tendencies apply to the T-bond, 10 year T-note and 5 year T-note?
