Hey Kev
I am no longer in NG calls, so I am calm (by the way I just came back from a surf at the beach so I think that tells you all you need to know about the temperature here right now - I don't know how you guys cope with temps like that!)
Cheers
S

As a holder of short NG calls, this scares me a lot:

Natural gas company Dominion East Ohio Gas asks Ohio customers to conserve - Story

It is also -1 F right now where I live, so I am cold. Cold and scared.

That has more to do with size of distribution pipes than amount of NG in storage.

By the weekend we will be in the mid 40s!

It may be cold, but it is sunny (and most of the snow melted yesterday)!

I'm about to go outside to blow soap bubbles outside with the kids. I heard it is cool when they freeze in mid air...

Hey Kev,
Just told my 7yr old about the bubbles and the beautiful pic, she would love to see pics of the frozen bubbles, it is something my kids will never get to see over here!

I am steering clear of Mar NG, it is too volatile and tricky for me, think I will trade Feb and April contracts, leaving March to people with more brains and deeper pockets than me!

Cheers

Unfortunately, too windy. Bubbles popped right after release. Nothing really to see. Plus, the bubble machine and the soap water froze up with 5 minutes. My kids were very disappointed. Me too.

My pipes were frozen here in Dallas this morning in my master bath, no water. Couldn't shower until a couple hours ago when they finally thawed enough.

Windchill was reported at -4 here last night with real temp of 11 degrees.

Mike

Due to time constraints, please do not PM me if your question can be resolved or answered on the forum.

Need help?
1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.
5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers.

At least your pipes did not burst!

@spj77 - next best thing after bubbles: throwing a pot of boiling water into the air. -2 F, probably -20F with wind chill.

Sorry I could not figure out how to embed this.
