I was not impressed by the Black Swan.
Countrywide puts I did not believe in Taleb "enough"....
Fuck your gold..i actually held Country Wide puts biatch...
It taught me a lesson though too to not trust gold miners...
To quote Mark Twain..."the definition of a miner is a liar standing next to a hole"
Good luck speculators...
You have got back to baseline..speculation is the toughest thing ever....

....First of all, I am not quite sure what the word "homage" means. I just checked it in Wikipedia and it seems to be a medieval tradition, sort of swearing. I usually have heard the word hommage in the context of editing some pieces of art that were created by artists who have passed away. I am not yet dead, so this comes a bit early.
....

What are you complaining about... you should see some of the things they call me...

I'm just a simple man trading a simple plan.

Harry,
Perhaps this is a little pre-mature to have a thread paying homage to you. I'd like to think of it as a "gratitude" thread instead. But I'm not putting down tigertrader for starting it. I should thank him for starting this thread so others can thank you for all the hard work you've done, providing all the top-notch indicators.

I've been inactive for quite some time but once in a while I would just pop in and out of futures.io (formerly BMT), perhaps to get some ideas here and there and staying in touch, though I must say I'm usually silent in the background.

I wrote a journal sometime back under "stricly forex" but due to time constraints, I've stopped posting. I am in the midst of moving back to my home country in Asia where the time for trading is a little more relaxed and less "zombielike" for me. Waking up in the middle of the night to trade can take a toll on one's health and is no longer an option I'm in favor of.

Sorry for the off-topic there. Hope you will keep posting your wonderful insights and indicators. You are truly an asset to the futures.io (formerly BMT) community.

Last but not least, Big Mike, if you're reading this post, thanks to you too for starting this great website. I know I've learnt a lot from the forums and contributions from the members through their indicators and insights. I hope to be active again once I've settled back in Asia.

Cheers,
fxwealth88

Indeed it is. I am a bit annoyed, as I am posting here for both enthusiasm and fun. I am benefiting from the forum, as I got most of my ideas here.

Just by curiosity, which is your home country?

Harry,
Don't be annoyed. Tigertrader was showing his gratitude like a lot of us. Perhaps "homage" should be replaced with "gratitude" to reflect the present times. Homage seems an "afterlife"? Anyway, it's up to tigertrader since it is his thread.

Home country is sunny Malaysia. And you?

Harry,
Ok I saw that you are from Berlin, Germany. Wie geht's?

I stayed for a year in a little town called Moers, 30 min from Dusseldorf. That was way back in 1991. I have forgotten most of my German but would like to start practicing again.

Maaf, saya tidak bisa bicara Bahasa Melayu. But from your nick name I conclude that you are a member of the Chinese minority, or do you belong to the Bumiputera? Malaysia is a very friendly country, have visited twice and enjoyed it a lot.

Have been to KL, Cameron Highlands, Melaka, Singapura. Have not been to the Malaysian beaches or rain forests.
Visited Kalimantan Barat (Pontianak), but not Sabah or Sarawak. Some time ago.

Harry,

Sometime what I see don't mean what I have in mind. I can see the your city Berlin clearly but I always recall the bear photo so I have "Bern" in my mind instead of Berlin from time to time.

That's also why I need algo/indicators to help out. That would be more objective than what I see and what I process out of my brain.

Calvin
