I think Shapiro was like that. (that idiot actually asked for a vote if anybody on their team thought OJ was guilty) The story is pretty much spot on, what really happened. There are a few little inaccuracies like Kato wasn't there watching the slow chase with the family, and obviously some made up conversations, but other than that, it is history. I mention this for younger readers.

The shot when they showed Fuhrman admiring his German memorabilia was priceless.

I also thought the very first 30 seconds of the first episode set the context very well (and without understanding that, there's perhaps no way their younger viewers are going to understand what happened and why/how).

Interesting that this alleged "OJ knife" is currently in the news, as the show airs.

I has been out a while but I just became aware they made a 3 part of the seminal Arthur C. Clarke book.

Thanks Brexit one good thing from you anyway. I was trying to explain aspects of manufactured consent to my philosophy PhD girlfriend and found it.

Not bad, I'm into 2nd episode now.

I have just ran into a new SyFy series, the execution is pretty good considering it is such a small network. The music is also excellent:

"The Expanse ..."

I have just binge watched the first season of the Expanse and while being quite a demanding hard sci-fi fan I must say the show is possibly the best sci-fi I watched in the last few years. What makes it stand out is technological realism - entire action happens in the solar system, so no need for physics bending engines or far-too-human-like alien proxies.
Where it lacks a bit is social realism - it seems tv-show writers/producers nowadays can't imagine (or allow) anything other than a linear social progress in their works. I will most likely be reading the original book series as it got me curious.

The good news is there will be Season 2 airing in February:

I think this is the most realistic social future I watch the series every day on Fox & CNN.

I have started the new Dirk Gently's holistic detective agency. Huge fan of the books, keeping an open mind on the changes of characters and venue (Dirk could not be more different to the books) but so far so good.
