Yikes, I need to stay away from this thread now. I've been leisurely wandering around stumbling on caves/dungeons and doing local quests from townsfolk with J'Zargo as my backup/packmule. I used the "wealthy merchants" mod cheat, so I already have most all the houses now. I haven't been to High Hrothgar yet, postponing it and getting married. No worries, I'd already been spoiled about Alduin on another forum.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
My mistake. I watched a little of the movie then quit it assuming it was an endgame movie. Pretty well done as a mod. I appreciate the thread, Big Mike, thanks.
I am sorry to say, the real endgame is nothing as impressive
Boo.
But Skyrim is still a truly epic game. I think this is a case of the "journey" being far more important than the "destination" (endgame).
It also has massive replayability, and DLC will add new quests and adventures. I've been meaning to start a new char, but just never seem to have time lately.
Interesting news. I'm kinda not sure about ElderScrolls turning into multiplayer. As it has been traditionally one of the best solo experiences on the pc. But I guess now they need to expand not just on xbox but to the multiplayer segment. Oh well.
The dragons in the loop reminded me of the in-game story about Padomey and that other dragon. But now there are three(?)
I haven't played Skyrim in a couple of months, but plan to continue. My character is still wandering about. Haven't been up to high hrothgar yet to meet the monks on the main quest.. It's real fun with the shield max perk and one of the dodge(?) perks for cumulative slow-mo if you know what I mean Or knock a double-wielding foe floating and twisting in slow-mo off a high cliff!
