JB was perfect from practice right through till the podium, an awesome performance! I felt a bit for Alonso as he must have been thinking WTF as a car flew a few inches from his helmet having no idea that would happen! No wonder he was shaken and needed a few mins to get out of the car!

Kimi had a good race too, hes been great since his return and nice to see lotus doing well

McLaren

Wins BELGIAN GRAND PRIX

Jenson Button , takes the victory for McLaren Mercedes in round 12

This forth win for McLaren Mercedes puts Jenson sixth in the 2012 Driver's Championship, 16 points behind Lewis Hamilton his team mate who now sits in fifth place. Fernando Alonso remains first in the championship just 24 points ahead of Sebastian Vettel in second.

Oh, by the way. Did you see the action in turn one, lap one, very sad. The history of this turn lives on.

Grosjean, Alonso, Hamilton and Perez were all eliminated from the race, Kobayashi managed to continue, Romain Grosjean has been given a one-race ban.

That wreck made my jaw drop! What an awful way to start the second half of the season. Disappointing to see Hamilton and Alonso taken out, they would have made the competition even more interesting.

Steep penalty for Grosjean, but he earned it! I can't even remember the last time a driver was suspended, that's pretty serious!

Oh, by the way. Did you see the First Lady and Texas Governor Rick Perry at the track?
And NO the tax payers didn't pay for their trip.

The trip will be paid for by TexasOne, a fundraising program for the Texas Economic Development Corp., and the Ambrosetti Forum.

""No tax dollars will be used for the Perry's travel and accommodations on this trip," the statement said." .... statesman.com

Alonso deserved to win. Adrian Newey should just keep all of the trophies for himself.

Vettel leads with Senna accident and is not sanctioned. Hülkenberg loses control of the car and collides with Senna and is sanctioned. Favoritism for Vettel? Alonso better pilot of the year 2012 according to the F1 drivers
