Futurestrader9979,

That's great! You have the right idea. Back in 1997, I felt that I was losing that youthful health. I went through the cupboard and read all the labels of the boxes and canned goods etc.

If it had chemicals or substances that were artificial, then I threw them out. If it had any dyes with numbers, out they went and never to return.

I make sure that I look at the label and make sure that the coloring is a natural substance. There are a few natural dyes that are a healthy choice.

Wow! Did I feel better getting rid of those dyes! Now if I am served food with dyes, I can taste them immediately and stop consuming that dish.

Colored drinks.... Yuk! As colorful as some cocktails are, I would not even take a sip. No way.

If one thinks that eating doesn't matter, try this. My father-in-law came down with colon cancer. They gave him 6 months. They wanted to start chemo etc. He said that he would give it a few days and think about it.

A buddy of his said "Try this Hallelujah Diet". hacres.com. It was the diet of Adam and Eve. Vegetables, fruit, nuts and seeds. He did. His doctor was very unhappy with that decision.

Well, 2 years later and full of vibrant health, his doctor convinced him to just do one round of oral chemo. After the 3rd day of the week long treatment, I ran into him. He looked like death warmed over.

When the week of treatment was completed, the cancer reappeared and exploded. 2 surgeries followed and death came quickly.

Let me see? Chemo or a life giving live food diet?

So, cudo's to you! This will be the beginning of a better way of living for you!

I'm very sorry to hear of this redbarns.

Doctors like that should be sued into the ground, and then drawn and quartered.

It must be so painful to see your Dad make the right decision live 2 years, and then have it negated by the poison peddlers.

The sad truth is that the vampires don't make money off healthy people.

peace, love and joy to you

Once, about 25 years ago I went to the doctor to get a script for penicillin for an inner ear infection.

They, the doctors, just hate people like me. They hate healthy people.

They hate the fact that I know about health (not death/disease) don't take any medications, and don't need them except for the script - as they have engineered themselves a gatekeeper. When it is clear I am only there for the script and I'm not interested in their opinion - they are infuriated.

Maybe it's about time they start to educate themselves and stop hurting people with drugs.

Well no money in that!

Oh so many MD's are the distribution arm of the drug companies.

There are actually some good doctors. The ones that put your broken bones back together.

The ones that stop the bleeding. These doctors are worthy of respect.

But, as I have said in the past, I don't go to doctors for health advice.

It's not hard to be healthy.

1) Engage in exercise that elevates your heart rate for a prolonged period at least twice a week. If younger then a mixture of aerobic exercise and lifting weights/plyometrics/HIIT exercises. If you're older then, well, actually the same sort of thing just be alot more careful and gentle!

2) Eat more vegetables, especially leafy green vegetables. If you find them boring then try roasting them with a bit of olive oil. When I did this with kale, broccoli and cauliflower then it really amazed me how good they tasted.

3) Eat a piece of fruit every day.

4) Eat a salad once or twice a week, preferably with your own home made vinagrette as this will have fresh garlic in it!

5) Eat more garlic, use it as a base in cooking

6) Eat more onions, use it as a base in cooking.

7) Try to avoid processed foods, including meat.

8) Cut down on sweets, biscuits, cakes and sugar in general (unless it's related to point 3).

9) Eat brown/wholemeal carbs over white carbs.

10) Or basically follow a low GI diet which is pretty much all of the above

Even if you only manage points 1-3 you'll be well on your way.

Im swimming every day now, pushups, pull-ups, most importantly you need to sweat toxins out, especially if you gonna catch some nasty virus
Media creates all the panic basicly too... Im not ignoring the fact there are mutations in virus but common now... First stories in 2020 of virus were so overblown. Now indian variant. Making everyone take vaccine bc there is no medical treatment for virus and law allows it.
As George Carlin said:
"Where did this sudden fear of germs come from in this country? Have you noticed this? The media, constantly running stories about all the latest infections – salmonella, e-coli, hanta virus, bird flu – and Americans, they panic easily so now everybody’s running around, scrubbing this and spraying that and overcooking their food and repeatedly washing their hands, trying to avoid all contact with germs. It’s ridiculous and it goes to ridiculous lengths."...

To add to your exercise comments: Since the Lymphatic System does not have a pump, the body relies on movement to clean out the lymph nodes.

That's why whenever (which is rare) I get a cold, I rest the first day and then get outside and move, work and/or exercise. Go climb a mountain and clean out those lungs!

For me, sleeping was the most crucial thing. I tried to reduce my sleeping time but it didn't go well. Also, drinking lots of water was good too!

To make sure I drink enough water, I fill a 1/2 gallon water jug and make sure I drink it by the end of the day. That does not include the other few glasses of water I drink when I am in the kitchen or at dinner.

Sleep? 5-6 hours a night is a good night for me. It's an age thing. Just don't need anymore than that. Of course my physical taxing work life is a thing of the past. Cheers!

I take a daily dose of zinc, magnesium, vitamin D, Ashwaganda root and selenium.
I'm hardly ever sick. I make sure to get a minimum of 6H sleep and take L-theanine before I go to bed.
