It's a cool site, for sure. You should deffo feel proud of what you have created... but taking "the moral high ground" generally exposes you to risks in real life - the view isn't any better!!
It may be more than a few bucks. I know I can count on donations from the members to help pay attorney costs so that the site stands up for what is right.
As it stands, I am waiting to speak to an attorney on Monday.
Its great that you're standing up to a bs request from someone trying to censor your forum. By doing so you are helping to protect all of our rights to free speech. If you decide to fight it , I will definitely pitch in and contribute to a legal fund.
I hate it when people try to use the dmca to hinder free speech.
A friend of mine took John Paul to task on ET only to get threats of litigation from him. Said friend dared this snakeoil salesman to bring it on and guess what? He never heard from that joker again.
