Broke the fast with an omelette and a cup of tea. Today I was feeling physically weak and out of breath but mentally alert. When I got back from walking the dog I was pretty damn hungry. During the walk I was ambushed by intense episodes of daydreaming but not the usual sex, ego or money thoughts. You know when youre meditating and breathing and you achieve coherence where youre in the moment, and something reaches out to give you answers you never knew you were looking for? Thats what it was like except amplified. There must be a biological reason for it like mild hallucinations, or lack of sugar causing misfiring neurons. But whatever, I dont care for reasons.
So Ill be on 24 hour fasts for the time being, eating a light meal once a day. No more carbs like bread, but instead more protein and healthy fat foods, like eggs, cheese, sardines etc. We shall see how this goes. I am down 4kgs. Tomorrow I am going to try and get into the pool to do a few laps and burn some energy.
