The BBC is also very biased IMHO.
What is required is discernment of truth and simple logic for the reader or listener. Oh, wait, America doesn't teach logic, only how to get in touch with feelings, especially when those feeling get "hurt".

Very informative and I'm a much better trader now hehe. Of course there are no ads on the BBC (in the UK) which helps.
Here is a funny pump and dump fake story that is pretty common.
In 2001, Kim ‘Dotcom’ purchased €375,000 of shares of a nearly bankrupt company, announced he would invest €50 million in the company, and caused the share value to jump nearly 300%. He sold his shares a few days later for €1,568,000. He never had the money available to invest.
I recall old Ronnie Regan was recorded making a joke about attacking Russia in a few minutes back in 1984. It was released, taken out of context and put some of Russia's defenses on a war footing. If they had encountered a US jet or sub during the elevated alert...
As an aside... Trump's doctor says what happens happens bla bla kind of thing about his health just now but picks early onset Alzheimer disease as an example of something that affected Regan. Wonderful. DT's father, Frederick Christ Trump (yes, "Christ") suffered from Alzheimer's for six years and had signs of it long before diagnosis.

The MoneySavingExpert founder says at least 50 fake ads bearing his name have appeared on the social media platform, causing reputational damage to him.
Many of the adverts show his face alongside endorsements that he has not actually made, and often link to articles carrying false information.
Facebook says misleading ads are not allowed and any reported are removed.
On Monday, Mr Lewis is due to lodge court papers at the High Court for a defamation case against Facebook.
He is seeking damages but has pledged that any money he receives will go to anti-scam charities.
Several of the adverts tout schemes with titles such as Bitcoin code and Cloud Trader which, according to Mr Lewis, are fronts for binary trading firms outside the EU.
Binary trading is a form of financial transaction which the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has warned consumers against.
Mr Lewis is a high profile campaigner who has used his own prime-time show on ITV to take on banks and utility companies among others.
His legal action is significant not only because of the high degree of public attention it is likely to win, but because it shows him turning his sights against big technology firms.
The Advertising Standards Authority has previously upheld Mr Lewis' complaints against adverts saying the promotions made it falsely appear as if the expert had endorsed the advertised services.
This person is plastered all over the news and forums. His site got viral because of what affiliate marketers and media companies did to him so he should actually be thanking them for free publicity. They are now using the cast from Dragons Den and Shark Tank to peddle their software as well. I tried to provide sources but you would not allow it since im a newbee
It's the site's rules, but once you start contributing more you will, thanks for the post anyway.
Dragon's Den personalities and more are actually not a new phenomenon. This is a thread posted almost 2 years ago where scammers were preying on those names.
The problem is not free publicity. If you care about your reputation you do not want to be associated with scam operations and fake news.
The era of investigative reporting and due diligence about facts is gone.
News agencies are in the business of speed, not facts or truth.
Whoever deliverers the news fastest is the "winner."
When it comes to our business of trading, data gets distorted because agencies are interested in more content, not solid content. You have to do your due diligence about what you read and know the source. Sadly, search engines like Google reward (in rankings) those who have "more" not who has "best".
I resorted to paid services at this point where I trust the individual source.

I have been very impressed with the Wall Street Journal and TradeTheNews.com both of which I subscribe.
The WSJ IMHO is hands down the best paper out there I also have it electronically two ways: as a regular app as you might imagine and with NM Bluebird which is awwweeesome.
You can read it like that zooming in or click the article and read just the text or have it read to you, maybe while busy driving etc.
TradeTheNews is simply amazing.
Needless to say I’m not worried about fake news with these two sources in the least.
Is there actually a news site that is not biased and covers real news? I was thinking about Vice, but I think Fox bought them so they might be fake too...
