I received an email from PCRM: Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine and am attaching an image of it.
I have done this free on-line interview in the past and found it very interesting.
Will be checking it out for new information etc.

As a trader, you can listen to the interviews, while you are waiting for a trade set up and who knows, you might learn something that will benefit your health, which we know,
will make us a better trader.

Dr. Greger, will be the first interview on April 30th at the Food Revolution Summit.
He does nothing but read, current medical research and then shares and post it on Utube and on his website: https://nutritionfacts.org/ and all of it is free.

Posting the Interview Schedule

The MD's they will be interviewing are on the cutting edge and I am really looking
forward to hearing my favorite MD talk today: Dr. Greger.

Hope some of you can listen and if it doesn't fit your schedule, they will post a link
after the interview, within 24 hours and the link provides free access for the next 23 hours
and it is also free. After that, they will be offering opportunities to buy the 9 day Food
Revolution Summit DVD's.

I listened to the free interviews last year and found it very helpful and inspiring. Wish there were

Posting some information from the Food Revolution Summit

Dr. Gerger shared information about current published medical research on the benefits of eating certain foods. Dr. Greger is also a best selling author: "How not to Die" (tongue in cheek) which you can get at your local library. He has his Daily Dozen recommendation, foods to eat to keep you healthy: Beans, Berries, Fruit, Cruciferous Veggies, Flaxseed, Nuts and Seeds, whole grains, and a few more items. To find out more, you can read his book: "How not to Die" which is available at the library.

Other MD's interviewed: Dr. Joel Fuhrman, How to eat to live. He shared how to lower your blood pressure naturally by eating a plant based diet rich in antioxidants and how this could also help with type 2 Diabetes and other diseases.

Dr. Neal Barnard, how to reverse heart disease naturally. Dr. Barnard is head of the PCRM: Physicans Committe for Responsible Medicine and they educate MD's and nutritionist's on current published medical research on healing disease through nutrition. They are also setting up clinics in Washington DC and other places, to treat patients. Most Doctors graduate from Medical School, with very little education on nutrition and believe it doesn't make a difference in your health but that flies agaisnt what medical research is proving. Dr. Barnard can also help with preventing heart attacks, alzheimer's etc. He lost his father to Alzheimer's and has studied the research and even if you have the genetic disposition for Alzheimer's, through nutrition, you do not have to activate the gene, what you do, can prevent the disease from manifesting. He is a living example.

Dr. Daniel Amen, on how nutrition helps with depression, concentration and behavioral problems in adults and children. Basically, once you remove the pesticides from a childs diet, the behavioral problems went away, along with giving them the nutrition their bodies need (by eating organic foods), the body functions properly and behavioral problems go away like Attention Deficiency Syndrome. More and more children are being given drugs for ADS which has side affects and this can be reversed through nuttition.

Dr. Mimi Guarneri: Putting integrative health to work for you. Looking at the whole system, include fermented foods, avoid GMO's and pesticides.

David Katz, MD: the optimal diet for Human beings, he mentioned he was at a conference and the founder of the Paleo diet said, we need to eat less meat. Dr. Katz, also mentioned a patient had prostrate cancer and saw it decrease by 50%, just going on a real food diet: mostly plants, beans, nuts and seeds and the other things that have been mentioned. Also, staying away from smoking, a poor diet and lack of exercise.

Dr. Michael Klaper, mentioned he is the happiest MD, he knows because when he went to medical school, he was taught, there were certain diseases you couldn't heal but he sees patients heal from disease all the time, by changing their diet.

The doctors recommended eating organic foods because we do not want the pesticides and organic is grown in soil rich with nutritients, you actually get the nutrtition your body needs instead of eating food that is lacking in vitamins and laden with pesticides.

Here is a secret, if you get out of the bodies way, it will heal itself, if you give it the nutrition it needs, a little execrise and emotional well being, your body will do what it needs to do, to maintain health, which leads right back to eating real food our bodies are designed for.

Below is the schedule of the MD's and other inspiring people, who were interviewed during the live broadcast. If you didn't have a chance to catch this Summit, they are selling the DVD's. There were people who reversed heart disease, eased arthritis, lost weight etc. from the information they learned from last year. They showed up and gave their testimony.

PS I would like to make a comment: I have recently started eating more high antioxidant foods and have noticed a huge difference in my sense of well being. I ate a pretty good diet already: organic, whole plant based foods but adding the high antioxidant foods suggested by Dr. Greger, I have noticed many improvements: I am looking more youthful, have more energy, minor complaints have gone away and I am more spirited. I have noticed, I can handle more stress than others even emotional stress doesn't affect me as much and even if it does, it is minor and for a short period of time. I also see people who are very apathetic and I do not feel that at all. I am kinda like a little powerhouse of optimism and energy. I have been eating my high antioxidiant breakfast for almost 2 months now and it really is starting to kick in.
As one of the MD's in the Summit said: eat all the good foods but it is also important to stay away from smoking, pesticides, GMO's, bad fats and get some exercise and do what it takes to be positive. It is kinda a circle: eat good food, stay away from the unhealthy stuff and it will bring emotional well being. I think, it starts with the food and staying away from junk, and with time, those things you craved, disappear and are replaced with feeling so good, you just don't want or desire unhealthy food anymore. It is a wonderful place to be at, just sharing. As a trader, it helps with clarity, concentration, handle the stress of trading better, more balanced emotionally, the list goes on. I think, every trader would want to have this edge.
The traders, I have studied with, also took really good care of their bodies, it gave them that edge.
