This thread is about coffee and things related. I wanted to make a thread that diverged from the original "caffeine and trading" thread to just focus on coffee.

Oh I wish I could just eat the beans

Thanks Itchy for starting this thread.

I tried this rub that uses coffee beans, which is similar to the Epicurious recipe. I was sceptical but it is really good on pan fried steak.

There is a coffee roaster/manufacturer in Montecristi (near the golf course where I own some land) and I always put my windows down while driving by it, the smell is intoxicating.

I'm not a coffee drinker, but I want to be every time I pass that place.

In this picture you are seeing a Panama hat, but it should be called a Montecristi hat as they make them in Montecristi and they originated there.

Recipe.

https://www.bulletproofexec.com/how-to-make-your-coffee-bulletproof-and-your-morning-too/

watch the video down the page.... you can use any coffee you like by the way.....coconut oil and Kerry Gold butter..I dont use a blender either... just a great stir with a battery operated stirrer ...Im sure his is awesome ......

Love this stuff...good for the brain.... and I would not categorize myself a coffee drinker.

Drinking a cup of Vietnam de Lat. Good stuff. Tea and tobacco tones to it.

The 21 Best Coffee Shops in Philadelphia - Eater Philly

I went to number 14 on a first date with someone I found on a dating website. She was very loud and I felt like everyone was listening to our conversation. Eventually we ended up walking around the park right next to it as she gets a "call" from her friend that needs help with something and she said "look I just don't feel a spark here, I don't think we have good chemistry,..., I have to go help my friends with something.. "

Funny thing about it was I was flirting a little bit with the barista, I'd go back and talk to her if it weren't for the commute. Coffee was decent.

I live in the suburbs outside of Philly and try to avoid the city at all costs. Finding parking sucks in Philly. When I tried to park at this location I almost got into an accident with some woman who tried to fit a truck in front of me. Honestly that event and driving through west philly put me in a bad mood and probably triggered the date to not go so well.

Funny story...sounds like some of my internet dates . yeah, I'm from West Chester so when I visit my folks I usually take SEPTA from the Paoli station to 30th Street to avoid the crazy traffic and drivers. Last time there, checked out some good irish bars but that is for another thread
