From all the countries you have been to, which one of them do you consider as best place you would like to live in?

Concerning me I really enjoyed my time in California and north of France. But maybe it would change if I stayed there for a longer time

I haven't traveled the world, but what struck a chord with me once upon a time was Gloucestershire. No idea what it's like today.

Other than that, I second the New Mexico high desert.

well my criteria are, climate, quality of living(that include food, entertainment, infrastructures, healthcare), cost of living, friendly people.
Of all the places I have visited nothing beats Spain

Being from Germany, my home country already sets a high bar in many ways. I don't like certain aspects of the german culture and german law, so I guess I would probably go for Switzerland or a scandinavian country.

I haven't been to all countries and places I wanted to visit (this number is somehow drops every year, it's either me getting old and bored or it's the world going down the pipe), but from all places where I have been I would like to try living in Thailand, at least for a little while. Love Thai food, respect their Buddhist customs and culture. Climate! Not easy at all to make a paperwork straight though.

Trade to live. Not live to trade.

for a place to live (not a place to work) I would say France or Italy but only if you are wealthy. I love Paris as a tourist now and I've hated Paris when I worked there.
