Tesla Tanks as Musk Struggles to Perfect SUV?s Artsy Middle Seat - Bloomberg Business

interesting. Tesla is well, a car company and this is typical car launch problems. Would be interesting to know if the rear seat was being supplied by a system supplier (i.e. entire rear seat assembly provided by one company) or if Telsa designed the seat and farmed out all of the separate components and now must de-bug the assembly for production. Folding seats are complex assemblies with loads of metal stampings, fastners, springs & dampers. According to previous articles about their launch problem with their Model S visor, Tesla could not get top level suppliers since they were low volume and new.

If Musk is gonna make his ideas real there´s a lot we can look forward to there´s not a lot of entrepreneurs like he is, or maybe there is but they are definitely not so famous and well-off to be able to make their dreams true

Elon was on Colbert Thursday night. He did well, wish they gave him more time...

would be awesome if we figured out how to clean radiation then we could warm mars "the fast way"

Understanding yourself is just as important as understanding markets.

I love Stephen Colbert but I felt he did a poor job interviewing one of the most interesting people on the planet. I felt he kept jumping in and asking the next question rather then letting Musk talk and answer. But Elon should have been a bit more assertive as well

Because of thin atmosphere on Mars it is speculated that the radiation would blow off into space rather then being trapped.

But with no assurance that would happen could it be risked?

I think Stephen is just a bit nervous still, a lot of pressure right now. Give him a few months to find his groove again.

What you describe was very evident in the Scarlet interview, he was interrupting her non stop. I think it's just nervous energy...

But Elon did well. Most things I watch with Elon he stutters and stumbles a lot and is very bad at getting his ideas across.

I'd like to see Stephen a bit less sarcastic all the time and break out of his character to become a likable real persona.
