I have been thinking a version of the solar updraft tower could capture some of the leaks

The skirt around the tower would not be clear (greenhouse to capture heat) but rather reflective to bounce sunlight back up into the sky and shade the area below. I'm not sure what to do for the top but perhaps run the methane trough a convertor to liquid fuel? -see CO2 liquid fuel -wiki

For small leaks in lake etc you could make floating metal cones with a wick so that the methane is burnt.
This would reduce it's damage to CO2 or 1/30th of the damage.

Thanks for the Thanks @Wikmar

Just being fair.

You know I'm very interesting about this issues, but I've to recognize that it's hard for me to address these two issues simultaneously with the required depth for me. Therefore, at this time, give preference to trading and from time to time, I spend a few intense days these other issues. So perhaps I read your reports superficially for now.

Kind regards aquarian1, good trading.

I understand, I was simply acknowledging your clicking on the button.

Almost all of my time is on trading as well. I must make the money to move my inventions into reality.

Posting these ideas are to give me a break from trading.
With so much time put into building the trading system I must hold onto the hope that it is not all in vain.

I do not want to see the planet destroyed and the animals and plants wiped out by people.

With so many members at futures.io (formerly BMT) there is a tiny chance one or two might also be interested in the topic and make posts of their own!

Hope springs eternal.

I agree with you completely.

Just maybe I am not able to combine trading and scientific research and development simultaneously.

As a wink, a electrical plane:

Pipistrel Aircraft Panthera | Pipistrel

Nice?

Next step; get the input energy from the sun. NASA has one but already very very not practical.

Looks very nice!
That and your Telsa car!! :-)

I saw an electric plane on the design of the Gossamer (?) the one that is powered by pedals.
It has very large wings and is very light.
On the top of the wings are solar panels.

Gossamer Penguin and Solar Challenger
The Gossamer Penguin, a smaller version of the human-powered Gossamer Albatross was completely solar-powered. A second prototype, the Solar Challenger, flew 262 km (163 mi) from Paris to England.[19] On 7 July 1981, the aircraft, under solar-power, flew 163 miles from Cormeilles-en-Vexin Airport near Paris across the English Channel to RAF Manston near London, flying for 5 hours and 23 minutes. Designed by Dr. Paul MacCready the Solar Challenger set an altitude record of 14,300 feet.[20]

Looks like the only company that is working on this process to convert water to hydrogen is Sun Hydrogen. ( HYSR ). Could be poised to rocket
