I would like to start a thread honoring Robin Williams, a comedian/actor that I have admired for a couple of decades. Such great television, such great improve, amazing stand-up/talk show routines and movies that make you laugh and cry.
It was so sad to hear of his death by suicide. It shocked me, and then it didn't in a way. I wondered why he took a step back and did that TV show which I found forced humour and frankly I did not think he looked so good. You wonder what caused his depression when you think of the effect he had on most that saw his movies, listened to his monologues. If there was ever a testament to the evils to drugs and alcohol and their addiction, he would be a poster boy in my opinion.
Here is an interview in a calm moment in an ABC NEWS (Australia) interview. I don't know who the interviewer was but I thought he conducted the process very well. Williams is under control most of the time but occasionally his funny side leaks out....enjoy
Please share clips of his humour by this man so we can all enjoy them .

I have never seen the Graham Norton Show as we don't get it here but man as a host Norton is great and somehow he is able to act well as a foil for Robin Williams....I could watch comedy like this every day....enjoy

This is my last clip that I will post on Robin Williams. However, feel free to post more clips if you want to...there certainly are a lot to chose from .
This is a clip of movie roles that Williams played in. There are only 10 here and I would add a couple not mentioned in this clip....World According to Garp, Jakob the Liar, Insomnia and One hour Photo
As well as a comedian...IMHO he was a good actor as well
