Hello Guys and Gals of nexusfi.com (formerly BMT):

Everyone is constantly talking about platforms or indicators but one of the things people DON'T talk about here on nexusfi.com (formerly BMT) is something that is ULTRA ULTRA Important also and that is Ergonomics.

I kept looking here to see if anyone had posted pics or articles of their set ups or proper ergonomics on trading stations and I found none.... :O

So I decided to start this one...

So I thought we should start with:
#1 pictures of what we think is very ergonomic
#2 Any good reviews on ergonomic equipment

I am still building my ergonomic workstation right now so I definitely would want to know if any of you guys or gals have tried out or reviewed some to the great ergonomic keyboards that are out there to use...

I think the best ergonomic station is one with a Treadmill desk >> for sure.

Second would be a full recliner type of chair - with the monitors above head. But that would be WAAAAYY too lazy ;p and damaging to your cardio. It would just reduce your cardio to nothing basically after some time. :O ;p hehe not good but if you trade for just 1 or 2 hours -- it would not be bad.

The other thing that is ultra important in ergonomics is the KEYBOARD and MOUSE.

I think from all the research I have done already - the 3 MOST ERGONOMIC Keyboards are:

The Kinesis Advantage
https://www.kinesis-ergo.com/shop/advantage-for-pc-mac/

MODIFICATIONS to the Kinesis Advantage - Kinesis Advantage - Everything you want to know but are afraid to ask!

Adding extra keys to your Kinesis Advantage

The ErgoDox
One of the best custom ergonomic keyboards
It WAS available here on MassDrop
https://drop.com/buy/ergodox

Ergodox Keyboard Kit

The DataHand - (Produced in the s :O )
DataHand Keyboard | Computer Interfaces & Typing Pain

All of these are the best keyboards there are right now... unfortunately the DataHand is not being made anymore so you would have to make it yourself. ;p A guy already did that. hehe ;p and from LEGOS... yea you read right - Legos.

As far as COMPUTER MICE
My favorite so far are:
Kensington SlimBlade

and maybe the Mad Catz HOTAS Rhino Joystick
this joystick is fully programmable and has a TON of buttons that should let you program whatever you want or need. Pretty awesome as well.

KEYPADS:
There are also PROGRAMMABLE KEYPADS available. They are made more for gaming than for computing << but I think that is why they are good -- because they can be fully programmed to do whatever you want.
The 2 that come to mind are:
Razer Nostromo
Logitech G13

ALTHOUGH YOU CAN ALSO USE THE PROGRAM AUTOHOTKEY
It is a program that allows you to fully program any keyboard switch or any mouse switch to whatever you want or need. So if you have a spare keypad around == you can save yourself the money and just program it with AutoHOTKEY.
AutoHotkey

So what are your ergonomic workstations like...?

Do you have a treadmill desk? A recliner desk..?

Which do you think is the best ergo desk/keyboard/mouse set up?
