Oh man, What a shocking photo. I didn't even realize that the photo was unintentional or recent until I watched the news last night where I caught a glimpse of that sign on the streets though the aerial photos.

What do u mean faster ?

EFT (emotional freedom technique) . I know 15 strongest point on body and I do use personally 8 of them.
Everybody who wants to do this technique well needs to speak with him self into last details.
When I did EFT with my friends, I do always make final question test. There u know if is problem not problem anymore or if is still inside body flowing wrong energy.

I have to say ,this technique and ho`oponopono change my life . I am just happy

Spiritual way. That's why we are here

I'm not a big fan of slurpees, I actually haven't had one since I was a kid, but the other day I went to a 7/11 and my girlfriend had one of these so I decided to try it. I can't believe how good this specific slurpee is made with blackberry ginger ale.

My other friend said the pina colada slurpee is also amazing. I guess I've missed out all these years. I've always disliked slurpees for some reason thinking they weren't that great and just filled with sugar, but they really upped their game with flavor these days.

Those picture make me sick .... what disgusting stuff is that? Chemicals blended with sugar, I would never touch it!

Pictures like these make Europeans shiver and make them fear the planned free trade agreement ....... at least you did not add chlorine chicken.

Take note that these aren't foods I eat all the time, just guilty pleasures that are exceptional in taste, not nutrients lol. Most of the time I just drink water, but I assume people aren't interested in pictures of a cup of water.

@Fat Tails please post pictures of the food you like. I encourage everyone to post pictures on here. Don't let me be the only influence.

But I guarantee that anyone would love the blackberry gingerale slurpee, even you Harry. I challenge anyone to buy one and drink it. I'm not a soda fan either. But that drink is the best I've ever had hands down. I'm pretty sure it does have some natural ginger in it.

I was watching wonder years the other day and the family was thinking about buying a brand new Volkswagen for 2000 dollars. It got me thinking what's happened.

I've been thinking about places to move lately and various things I'd like about the area. I've noticed after living in the tristate area for most of my life that most high traffic areas around rush hour drive me crazy. I loved living in the country with wide open roads. I loved the amount of space everywhere. It's not only aesthetically beautiful, but also practical. When I drive into the city it drives me crazy how cramped I feel. People crawling all around, no where to park, and noise everywhere. The only good thing about the city is nightlife and people to interact with, but I'm sure I could find things to do on the weekend in a more desolate area, and friends or a significant other to keep me occupied too. I've also considered beach areas too considering they get very desolate in the winter and water which is nice. Anyways, here's the picture of the day, a little town in Montana called lander that caught my eye. I don't know much about the town, but it looks pretty first glance.

Here's another similar area in Calgary Alberta Canada that I posted earlier on this page if you haven't noticed

So here's a new theme that I hope some people will follow lol (never happens, but I have hope). Please post a picture(s) of an area you're thinking about moving with a blurb about why. Thanks

We are seriously considering moving to San Diego. Mostly because I feel the most at peace there, the water, the weather, the beaches, lots of military equipment moving around. Everything I love about life is in that city. Haven't made the decision yet since all of my family and all of my wife's family live here but every day that goes by, we think more seriously about it. Plus my daughter LOVES SD.....she'd move there today if I asked her.

And here's a possible alternative choice. My wife thinks she loves London, although I suspect she'd tire of the rain and the clouds pretty quick not to mention driving on the wrong side of the road, the crazy cost of living, etc.

My friend said she loves San Diego and thinks it's absolutely gorgeous but she just told me that she'd never be able to pay for it because it's so expensive unless she had a rich husband.

I live in San Diego. It is great. But super expensive. The California taxes alone will kill you if you are used to living in another state.

I've done some checking of course and found it would cost me about $1000-$1500 more per month to live there due to the housing cost difference. The remainder works out to about a wash. Somethings are more expensive here than in SD and other things are much less there with regard to basic living expenses.

This is especially true if you are more interested in renting than owning. Which at this stage of my life, I am not interested in owning real estate again so being a long term renter is fine with me, which puts the monthly housing around $2500 +/- a bit. That is doable.

So about $5000 a month for a decent living.....my needs are simple so I don't require a huge mcmansion to live in or a BMW to drive.

As to @BeachTrader's point, California is only a few tenths of a point higher in total taxes than AZ overall, CA is 8th highest in the nation and AZ is 11th. Not that big a difference.

So yes, living expenses would go up a bit, but I think so would our quality of life. Its brutal hot here in the summer, there's not that much to do unless you like desert activities and we don't. The only thing holding us here is family.....which is a hard one to deal with....although I suspect if I had a spare bedroom, I'd see more of them if I lived in SD than I do now!!!

Post a picture of a place/house you'd like to rent hypothetically if you went out there when you have time, or your dream house there. It seems like you've given this some thought. Pictures, pictures, pictures!

The pic I posted of downtown SD near Petco Park is where the business district is, the Gaslamp Quarter, Little Italy, Bankers Hill, The Marina District, Little Korea, Balboa Park, etc.....and there are lots of condo's and apartments in that area, so somewhere in that neighborhood.

Otherwise in the Clairmount area would be nice just north of the down town area and near Mission Beach.

Indeed it is.....I've been all over the world and while there are plenty of things I loved about each place we visited, San Diego has the best combination of weather, activities, livability, affordability, etc of any place I've ever been.....I have a friend that lives in Sydney Australia and claims is nearly identical to San Diego. But otherwise, I think its the best of everywhere I've been so far.

The pub appears to be this one:

The Royal Mile Tavern

Looks like a very traditional old boozer. I have never been because I live a long way from Edinburgh.

If you clicked the link you'd see that the trippy filter is just one of 16 filters you can use with the application. I ran my picture through a few times adding layers of distortion, it didn't just come out like that on the first try with one filter. It does take some finesse to get it right and apparently the open source code allows you manipulate the base images involved with the distortions.

Just flew in this morning from Singapore to Sydney, winter but a nice 17°C
made a few pictures form the hotel room and a walk along the bridge
enjoy...

Australia, still one of my favorite places

You got lucky, it was cold as hell just a week ago.

What's the itinerary? Make sure to hit the fish markets, I was there yesterday for fresh oysters.

Welcome to straya!

makes day and night difference if you walk in the sun or in the shadow
in the sun it was very comfortable in the weekend, for the time of the year

but today during the day was very busy with work
in the evening walked over the bridge to Cockle Bay
so burned the necessary calories ;-)
a bit chilly, but if you move and are properly dressed it's nice..

flew in over the weekend from Singapore
at this time of the year, their neighbor (sumatra) is burning down forest
and there is that haze... much lest interesting for a walk...

I wouldn't mind being tucked away in one of those little houses for a season trading, exploring the town, and sampling the local food and drink.

@JohnS

here is Geisfeld, a place for you @Itchymoku. The grey sand stone is typical for the area.
