What did you accomplish in 2013?

What big picture items or life goals did you accomplish in 2013?

Need help?
1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.
5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers.

For me, it was finally making major progress on retiring outside the US. That will be completed in 2014 but I have spent a considerable amount of time working on it this year as well.

I am also proud of finally branching out and creating my own trading platform to fit my exact needs.

No one wants to share I guess?

Your career, family, trading, personal goals, nothing?

If nothing else, I'm still alive! Thank God. I've come close to death a few times in the last year.

I've made progress with trading and came to many truths about who I am and what I want to do with my life.

I finally traveled from coast to coast and met someone special.

Boy 2014 really came around quick though.

What did you accomplish in 2013?

1. survived a heart attack and double pneumonia
2. Almost finished with a degree i've been working on for a long time....will finish spring 2014
3. finally became consistently profitable.
4. Lost 30 pounds....I had to for my heart health.
5. Reversed all my bad cholesterol numbers in less than 90 days and have kept them reversed.

There are others but those are the ones that come to mind right away this early in the morning.

Cheating a bit, but for the 2014 version I plan to be able to say I lost 50+ pounds, have an excellent tan, a great golf game, and in general am far healthier both physically and mentally.

I am leaving the states in the next 8 weeks, it's almost like starting over.

The golf game will help with the mental and physical health aspect....three birds with one stone!

Absolutely. Realistically, my mom's house won't be finished until end of June, mine will be end of November.

So the golfing won't happen much until 2015. The house I am renting is about 20 minutes from the course, so I'll still drop in...

And that reminds me, I need to buy new clubs before I leave! Add it to the list... A very long list and not much time to get it done

Still, I don't plan to buy a car right away, so lots of walking will be taking place and lots of exploring! Will be great to be outside.
