I have begun the the research process and have come across the concept of Coworking spaces.
Although there may be too much distraction, if a trading community could be located, it may
be an interesting possibility, as I'm sure most all would be focused on the task at hand and not
too chatty at the wrong times...
I tried to find others interested in trading in my community.
I never could find anyone that 'fit' my style or goals.
I thought of trading from home but it is too distracting.
So now each day I go to a client's location.
They start work about 10 and no one is there early in the mornings.
They have internet access and I have a key and permission.
I start my trading day about 7 each day and finish before 9.
I can get my goal most days and then go to my 'real' job after trading.
I've been doing this since January and it works well for me.
I've posted a few trades on my blog.
I have to admit, I don't blog every day.
I've been pretty consistent of being at my trading desk about 4 times a week.
You may want to consider something like this if you have access to a similar office.
Try to think 'outside the box' for solutions. Maybe something will develop for you.
p.s. here is my Trading Blog if you are interested.

Most every major city will have "virtual" office space companies. Most of these (I think) have limited areas where you could come "in to the office" and have internet and a cube or office area. But you won't be surrounded by traders.
If being surrounded by traders is the goal, you could always move to Chicago...
