What about fried spiders from Skuon, Cambodia? Just collect them when they are crossing your garden, add some mono sodium glutamate, sugar, salt, crushed garlic and fry them in hot oil.
The spiders can be served, once the legs are stiff.

10 adults and a few kids. Also smoked a couple links of kielbasa. Made extra for guests to take some home in ziplocks and still have leftovers for us.

Made a batch of this non-mayo potato salad to go with the pulled pork. Should have tripled it as EVERYBODY loved it, including potato salad haters and kids. All the adults asked for the recipe:
