Everything You Need To Know About AfroDuck's Fastest Manhattan Lap

Along the same line, Germany uses cameras at odd places to catch speeders. They have been doing this for years. This particular situation occurred in 1985 when I was living there. It was the topic of conversation at work for several days.
Radar Catches 'Miss Piggy' Speeding, Police Don't Know Who to Charge

The funny thing to us Americans is that within a few days of this occurrence we were advised through the chain of command that Germany passed a law immediately after this stating something to the effect that a car owner is responsible for any traffic incident whether the driver is recognizable in the photo or not. We never verified this for ourselved but assumed our chain of command was reporting accurately. We were all amazed at how quickly the German government reacted to this. Very efficient and seemingly definitive. Can't imagine anything happening that quickly in the US at either the federal, state, or local level. Beyond that, I expect the civil liberties union would put a stop to it.

I think that Nino needs all the engineers in BMW now to work out the next time that he can get into the same bed as the Mrs !

I wonder what the risk reward on that "trade" was ?

I thought this was pretty cool, Like ordering a Model A or T from the Sears Catalog at the beginning of the last century.

My car german hoopty still goes 130mph even with 200k miles on it. I still had quite a bit of pedal to get down to the floor too. Speedo goes to 160. My wrench says it will do that all day long and then some.

At 130 things were going by like they were solid. LMAO I scared the crap out of myself only because the top was down and the wind noise was to say the least fierce at that speed.

It's a bambi killer too. I hit a deer with it and there was not a mark on the car afterwards. I'll clarify though. It was just after dark and Bambi was already down in the middle of the road by the first vehicle that hit him/her. My eyes went to the emergency flashers on that car and the next thing I knew I was air born just like in the movie scenes..DOOOF Sailing through air going OMG I just killed bambi... Not a scratch. WHEWWWWW Lota bambi fur on the bottom of that bad boy though...

I'm telling you guys. Get yourself one of these cars with some of your trading winnings. They are around and very reasonable as far as price is concerned. Oh yea and when chicks get in these cars they just start taking off their clothes

Old Mercs are cool. My fav though is R129, SL cabrio from 90ties. But inside they are so sad..

Trade to live. Not live to trade.

Sometimes the picture becomes clearer once your are further away....

I am not fond of sports cars - although I once enjoyed driving a formula car on the Nürburgring.

Maybe, it is not the time to celebrate the nonsense of yesteryear?

Useless sport cars will disappear sooner and later, already today they look to me like dinosaurs.

United we stand, with our heads in sand! :car:
