Welcome to futures io.

Welcome, Guest!

This forum was established to help traders (especially futures traders) by openly sharing indicators, strategies, methods, trading journals and discussing the psychology of trading.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading forums:
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive on our forums.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendor advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in openness and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, it is not something tangible you can download.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community. It's free and simple, and we will never resell your private information.

You are one of the few people who call it petrol I guess. I kept hearing about 'gas' everywhere in USA (it was 2008 and oil's bull market of all bull markets was ongoing!)

When a guy from India (who learns based on what the Brits injected down here) walks into America he needs a term translator like this:

(Non USA) -> (USA)
petrol -> gas
bill -> tab
notes -> bills
doubt -> query / question

and so on.... (too many to list here)

</Jest>

That was some excellent observation; you must make a great trader. I came over initially for college, and as every other college kid, I got scammed into a dorm meal plan and we always had omelette for breakfast. The serving lady would ask me what I'd like in my omelette, and I'd point at the "peppers" and say "Capsicum, please." I realized after a few strange looks that no one calls it a "capsicum". I still don't understand the logic behind this - I mean it's OK to call it a "bell pepper" but it's common to have egg seasoned with pepper (the spice).

Gas is another illogical truncation that still gets me annoyed, because it could imply natural gas, hydrogen, a whole lot of other likely energy sources.

Due to time constraints, please do not PM me if your question can be resolved or answered on the forum.

Need help?
1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.
5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers.

The size of those panel gaps is distracting. And I wonder if the inside material quality and dash has caught up to all the tech and cutting edge appearance.

A little too childish looking for me, but I am sure it handles like a dream.

I'm an absolute car fan. I especially like European sports cars. A guy I know has a Bugatti Veyron and I thought that was the absolute fastest car I would ever see then I saw this, the Koenigsegg. This is really impressive.
