Hmm, not sure I agree. I don't want this thread to turn into a political thread, but lets just say there is a certain mainstream TV network that gets its name from an animal that pushes hate speech and misinformation to a whole new level. The amount of misinformation spewed is very much NOT harmless, because so many people believe it.
Obviously, other TV stations have their own agendas, but I've never seen the kind of pure hatred on other stations as what you see on the animal-named one.
I used to listen to Limbaugh and then Hannity. Eventually I realized how "fascist"-like toned they sounded. Amazingly they continue to counterclaim the majority of the "mainstream media news industry" is all in the camp of the other "side". Now not much to listen to or take seriously for "factual" news. I just watch the Fox brand for their movies now. Thanks to kbit ,Zondor, and some others on futures.io (formerly BMT), I'm glad to have caught on to zerohedge, and alternative shows like MaxKeiser, and Schiff and Molyneux. But now RT seems to have been recently Putin-stamped. I was sad (as I'm sure many were) when Ms. Lyster left for yahoo news and her "Capital Account" show was ended. Great guests and Ms. Lyster never guided an agenda and always seemed investigative. She should have learned how to trade for extra income!

Well, I don't believe I was defining "uninformed" as not watching FNC. Who or what is a reliable source of information is a matter of opinion and any information contrary to someone's opinion will always be classified as either "hate speech" or "misinformation". I define uninformed as completely oblivious to the major issues that will affect their future because they make no effort to educate themselves sufficiently to even form an opinion. If you don't believe me, then ask several friends or relatives who the chairman of the fed is and see how many even know what the fed is. This is a problem because the current system is unsustainable and because most people don't have a clue or simply don't care and therefore neither does Washington. In the end we will all pay dearly for their greed, I know because I already have. I also know it is going to get worse.
