Man, I hear so much mixed up stuff. You say they're good someone else says they're bad. I don't know who to believe anymore. One person says egg whites are good and now I find out they're bad. If you look at my coffee thread you'll see both sides to that debate as well. There's so much information that says it's healthy and so much that says it's not.

Based on my Research these are 2 of the Best things to take to Clean your Arteries :

1. L-ARGININE either in pill form or Liquid

2. Vitamin C in the form of Ascorbic Acid ...based on my research a Buffered Powder formula is a good choice.

The L-Arginine will also Dissolve Blood clots , and Diolate your Blood Vessels due to Nitric Oxide that is produced
from this Supplement.

Both the L-Arginine and Vitamin C that is derived from Ascorbic Acid are 2 Great Supplements to take for Cleaning
your Arteries.

The Vitamin C also tries to heal your Artery walls due to inflammation, and free Radical Damage, But if you take in Sugar the Vitamin C
cannot do it's job, as the Sugar will always prevent the Vitamin C from healing your Artery walls...instead Plaque forms on the walls which is due to your Cholesterol trying to make the repairs and it just builds up.
I will have to find that Article as it explains it much better than i can.

I love Avocado so much so more power to ya if you can find reasons to why I can eat them. It's a damn shame they go bad so quickly after being exposed. I love the flavor just like I love egg yoke but yokes are bad. Seems like just about everything that tastes great to me is bad for me like bacon. I love a BLT with Avocado!

And I like a healthy dose of Avocado on there too! Just like the picture!

Avocados are amazing for you. Tons of vitamins and minerals (more than any other fruit). Fat in food doesn't equate to a fatty composition. Eating more calories than your body uses during the day equates to a fatty composition.

I always see a plethora of articles from day to day on news sites like yahoo about different foods and a lot of times if there is a common belief there will always be some writer out there that will try to pull some new information to disprove that belief because he gets the attention of the people who hold the belief like avocados are bad for your cholesterol. So what I'm getting at, and I've done this myself, is if you research most foods good or bad you can find both good and bad articles about the foods. It's hard for me to keep track and really discern whose right or wrong. All I can really go off of is the studies done by scientists and universities and compare and contrast their validity. But there are only so many studies and usually there are some pitfalls or bias to the studies themselves. So I just assume vegetables are good as a rule of thumb and give up.

It's ridiculous. A common example is the whole drinking a glass of wine a day thing or having chocolate. If there is something taboo about the food there will be people on both sides trying to disprove each other because usually there is someone who genuine likes the food and another who is a health nut claiming it has to be bad.

The Kiwifruit has a similarly loaded profile. Try that too!

That's interesting because Kiwi would seem to be the exact opposite as avocado despite sharing the same color.

It might be interesting to make a salad with kiwi, avocado, leafy green of your choice, a little lime juice, and black pepper. I saw a recipe for it.
