Bad day....lost my mom today. Difficult writing this but I think that family is such an important part of trading successfully that I thought I'd share.
My mom was the most amazing, incredible, kind woman that you could imagine...always there with a warm smile when you were down and unconditional love when you needed it most. No greater supporter of anything I did be it in or outside of trading. Her passing comes as an unexpected and tragic shock...not prepared for it to say the least. Her Neurosurgeon, Dr. Aldo Rosemblat and everyone in the ICU at Northwest Medical Center in Florida treated my mother and me with the utmost dignity, respect and compassion. Brought me to tears with the extent of the help they offered...
I know the title of this thread is different, but how about we semi-call it the "Tribute to Mom" thread?
Mom was very sick for a long time, we discussed the final leg of her journey....but never thought it would end like this. For everyone out there reading this - Hug your mom and give her a kiss....call her up and tell her you love her....make an effort to be there for that sunday dinner.....and do it often...you never know when you might not have that precious chance again.
...let's hear your Mom story...it matters!
Mom is precious, you only have one Mom!

hi @Devil Man really very deeply saddened to hear on your loss. Mothers are universal.
there is no one like Mother and nothing like Mother's love.
Am going to pay my respect & will pray for your Mother. I love all Mothers as I feel they are universal..Mother, Mother Earth, Mother Teresa...all great Mothers.
I write this with tears and though maybe a language unknown to you pls accept this as a tribute ..as this always strikes a chord in my deepest heart when listening to it since it is conceptualized around Mother..it is about a boy saying that Mother knows everything.
Hold strong and please do let me know if can do anything.

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers bro.
I'm 48 yrs old. My mother died from breast cancer in 1972 when I was 5. Believe me when I tell you, although I can not prove it on a rational level, your mother is now closer to you in the realm she is in now, the spiritual plane of existence ,than she was in this physical plane. This next realm is far beyond our comprehension we simply don't have the tools to perceive it... But that in no way means it's not real. A lower level of existence can never comprehend a higher state.
