Genetically Engineered Mosquitoes Coming to Florida
Genetically engineered mosquitoes may be released in the Florida Keys in the next month or two. Oxitec, a British biotech company, plans to release an experimental mosquito population genetically engineered to combat dengue fever.
This is especially unnecessary since there have been no cases of dengue fever reported in the Florida Keys since 2010. The company has been preparing for FDA approval to use Key West as a test population, which is expected to happen within the first two months of 2015.

Posting this because: when I took my mom to the chemo doctor (she had lung cancer), they had a poster that said: If you are a senior citizen or you think you have cancer, DO NOT GET a FLU SHOT.
The reason is, flu shots stimulate or bring on Cancer growth.
My Mom, went and got her flu shot and immediately got sick with the flu. She was a sick for a month, unable to do anything. Also, the MD's office couldn't give her an appointment to see her MD, for 3 months!!!!
(We don't have enough Doctor's in the US).
We finally got her in to see a Doctor, who sent her to another Doctor and then another Doctor, to finally find out she had Lung Cancer. We talked to the MD about her symptoms and when we mentioned she went
and got her flu shot and she got sick, the Doctor said: Yes, that sounds typical etc.
So, if you think you have cancer or you have or are a senior citizen, consider: not getting a flu shot.
Better, to look into boosting your immune system with a healthy diet, more Vitamin C etc.
