Quoting
As much as I dislike .... actions, at least they never created fake accounts pretending to be users and promote their products.

Mike

I have asked you who you were referring to but since then no reply from you. So it's my guess that you are trying to say that I was a promoter of a software being my software just because I'm a happy user who posted videos of a software I use and like. (What about your comparing videos or any other member's comparisons, BTW?)

Is that right? I think it is because thread hijacking by talking in platitudes that make no sense to me and silence afterwards are quite telling

So if so then these are serious accusations. That would not just be serious accusations against me but also accusations against the software vendor whose software I use.

So in for a penny, in for a pound. You must finish what you start. Otherwise it's just pathetic trolling of someone who is the real one getting paid for whatever nonsense.

@Letmein,

Your question in the title of this thread is very relevant.

Of course, Big Mike is not a man.

There are three main hypotheses currently discussed here on futures.io (formerly BMT):
- he is a team of several,
- he is a robot,
- he is an alien.
(I would add a fourth: he is a woman. It is often said that women are able to multi-task whereas men cannot.)

A man could not:
- trade
- post analysis on ES
- read all futures.io (formerly BMT) messages
- manage the forum
- help members
- play with his dogs in the swimming pool
- change his dog avatar twice a day
- etc.

Really something to be investigated...

Nicolas

Get ready for the party.
You have chosen a wrong guy to mess up with.

What Mike is doing here is certainly not an ordinary job. The kind of effort that he has put in into maintaining the quality of the forum is exceptional.

I would request you not to take his comment so personally and in a negative manner. You should take it as an appreciation because it indicates that you have written a detailed and well presented reply favoring the Amibroker - , it would appear to be have written by some experienced Amibroker user or by some one from Amibroker support staff. So please do not take it as a serious allegation.

@Letmein,

You should take care when referring to Wikipedia, because the only "Big Mike" who has a Wikipedia page ( Big Mike - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ) is the gentleman below, and I have serious doubt about his sense of humour.

A German calling for banning others. That sounds familiar to me. BTW I did not ask for it. Again assumptions

Something that sounds familiar to me because of history serving as fact isn't an assumption. Take it easy like real Germans would do.

But to be honest it's always nice to see that if someone wants to defend himself by speaking to the alleger a whole crowd other than the alleger himself storms in trying to put the person defending himself down. They try to make fun of it and if the defending person steps in doing the same then the crowd suddenly gets angry and whiny. To be honest that's quite funny. It's all so easy to be a part of a mob of people.

Just sayin no harm meant

@Letmein I am not German, but I still think that was rude.

I think you are free not to come here anymore.

Maybe ET would be better suited to your 'style' of communication.

It's rude to call for banning because I'm defending myself. You guys try to be funny and I have the right to try to be funny too. So relax. Jesus.

I think Mike said these things because you sound very much like another poster in a previous Amibroker thread, that was banned for being rude and kept trying to come back under new aliases, to continue throwing insults and being rude.

Mike does a great job keeping the forum clean and readable for everyone and trying to keep sellers out promoting their products. Lets suppose you are mistaken for a seller. So what. Grow up and move on. I see you are an advanced trader, how about focussing your energy on helping beginning traders.

So every new member of this forum who is a fanboy of NT, MC, MS and so on is a seller because he provides useful inside info about a software right from the start? Rather every new user has to be a noob?

views my behavior here as unwarranted, detrimental or offensive he will ask appropriate questions to clarify his view, the he will ban me from the forum if he believes that action best. These are within his purview as the owner, creator, and chief force behind Big Mike Trading.

The reason that I engage you is that by doing so I might distract your attention away from other people that you might offend. I stick my head out in the open and you can go after me, because I could not care less about your opinions, statements, or miserable existence. Your propensity to attack anything that moves reveals that what ever you are whining about is not the real issue the real issue is some defect with you. I'll take the heat from you so others can be spared...that is what is going on here.

I don't have any experience with either and I'm happy where I am at so I'd be of little value. But, if either of them have square scaling for their charts I would take a look. Do either have squared scaling?

The other top of page items for me would be customer service that answers a phone and hands on programing language educational seminars.

I don't have any experience with either and I'm happy where I am at so I'd be of little value. But, if either of them have square scaling for their charts I would take a look. Do either have squared scaling?

If you mean by squared scaling to have the same tick/pip distance on the y-axis no matter if zooming out or in then yes it is possible.

in that one unit on y-axis and one unit on x-axis are the same size and that they maintain a proper square relationship. I'm not sure I am describing that in the easiest or best way.

@wldman,

Whatever you do with the chart (zoom in, zoom out, etc.), a square remains a square (and does not turn into a rectangle)?

Nicolas

that is the correct visual and mathematical representation for numerous reasons. I have adjusted since changing from a platform that did that right to NT which has yet to get there. The catch 22 now is that I'd have to re-develop again everything else that I use.

I don't want to hijack this thread to focus just on square scaling so this should wrap what I maent and what I'd look for.
