Don't know about anyone else but this new LPI is kicking my tail end.
Definitely do not want to have a bad day now training in Lumosity or your scores and percentages fall as fast as the market after Mario Draghi gives a speech.

Just realized that I forgot to do my Lumosity today and will do it tomorrow as to late in the eve to do it now.

Seriously though anyone else a tad disturbed at the new LPI. Plus when they introduce a new game to you, they claim it doesn't hurt your scores, but because there are less games going toward score any movement down is amplified.

Some on my side. What I have been realized, there are some games, what I do not play, but used to play a few times. These scores are there, and beating you down. But if you spot these games, and start playing with them invidiually, that your LPI scores getting better and better. I dont like this kind of calculation, but this is what it is. Here am I right now, I am not pushing to play more, only those 5 which has to be played. And I am using to measure myself am I ready to trade today

Matevisky,

Great idea to do the Lumosity before trading. I just may give it a whirl as I have backed off my time to get up in the morning from 6 a.m. PST to 5 a.m. PST so that I can be better prepared for ES Open at 6:30 PST.
All of your scores remain in the Lumosity system. It used to be that if you did poorly one day it didn't affect scores much, but now it is like a weighted moving average with the way they calculate your overall LPI.

I guess it is like trading. For a long time I was used to only a maximum of 1% change on a day. But with this change over to LPI I have seen as much as 10% (totally exaggerating probably only 8.75%) change in a day.

Overall I really like Lumosity and have paid for life subscription as I intend to be alive for well past the time it takes for my payback.

By the way their support is excellent.

See what I am talking about. Ever since LPI down down down.
Feels like any negative move counts twice against you.
Also figured out today. Not good to do this during market hours, as even though you may think you are fully concentrating... well not.

Forgot to say nice cup and handle on your training history.
Congrats on making new highs, they aren't making this easy that is for certain.
Great stuff for working on what needs to be tuned up.

I use exercise as in this clip. It really works and creates a flexibility of mind.

I still take these tests everyday and they do really make a lot of difference... Kind of a warm up on brain before the day starts....

I am puzzled:
How can The Examiner mix up LUMOSITY* and Luminosity?

Something here smells fishy...

Good news. I have in intense dislike of this (and the type) company going back to maybe 2009 when my elderly aunt was suspected of Alzheimer (thankfully not). Like endless cancer treatments preying on the pockets of the desperate... unsubstantiated claims for dementia and Alzheimer were rife in the growing sector.

To give you an example of how this operates legally.. currently Cogmed Working Memory Training | Published Research - not a single mention of Alzheimer or dementia that I can see in the peer reviewed section.. I recall a lot more of.. oh wait.. Cogmed Working Memory Training | Ongoing Research. there's currently just one in the unsubstantiated ongoing research... rant over. After involvement with hospices going back over 20 years.. I have seen enough of this.

I have little doubt there is benefit for healthy minds, I'm specifically against the false claims that sometimes delay more effective treatment.

What is however (IMHO) very good for cognition and studies show it helps slow aging, plus it is cool and sexy. Google Cognition and Dancing. e.g. Dancing Makes You Smarter

Really, dancing salsa or meringue etc. regularly will do you good. I live in Colombia now for a reason.
