Welcome to futures.io.

Welcome, Guest!

This forum was established to help traders (especially futures traders) by openly sharing indicators, strategies, methods, trading journals and discussing the psychology of trading.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading forums:
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive on our forums.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendor advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in openness and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, it is not something tangible you can download.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community. It's free and simple, and we will never resell your private information.

Interesting info...and the late Aaron Russo's place.
Many thx for posting this...oh how the years flow by...

Man, there were some great concerts there, along with the Aragon in Chicago, pre the days of "Arena" rock.

My main issue back then was not scraping together the $5 or $7.50 to see any of the big bands of the time .... it was traveling by bus and dealing with the under-18 11PM curfew that the Chicago Police were very 'concerned' with, especially after the 68' convention and if you had long hair. Fun times!

God playing Rock....nothing before....nothing since.
Emulated by many but never achieved by ANY in brilliance.
After 45 years on this planet, still my favorite tune.

Oh, let the sun beat down upon my face, stars fill my dreams
I am a traveler of both time and space, to be where I have been
To sit with elders of the gentle race, this world has seldom seen
They talk of days for which they sit and wait, all will be revealed

Talk and song from tongues of lilting grace, sounds caress my ears
But not a word I heard could I relay, the story was quite clear
Ohh
(Chorus)

Oh, oh
Oh, oh

Oooh, baby I've been flying...Mama, there ain't no denyin'
Oooh yeah, I've been flying, Mama ain't no denyin', no denyin'

All I see turns to brown, as the sun burns the ground
And my eyes fill with sand, as I scan this wasted land
Tryin' to find....Tryin' to find where I've been.

Oh, pilot of the storm that leaves no trace, like thoughts inside a dream
Heed the path that led me to that place, yellow desert stream
My Shangri-La beneath the summer moon, I will return again
Like the dust that lufts high in June, when moving through Kashmir.

Oh, father of the four winds, fill my sails, across the sea of years
With no provision but an open face, along the straits of fear
Ohh
(Chorus)

When I'm on, when I'm on my way, yeah
When I see, when I see the way they stay, yeah

Ooh, yeah-yeah, ooh, yeah-yeah, when I'm down...
Ooh, yeah-yeah, ooh, yeah-yeah, well I'm down, so down
Ooh, my baby, oooh, my baby, let me take you there

In line with the Led Zep appreciation society lol, if it's of interest Terry Reid turned down the job as lead singer.
From amongst the first albums I bought as a kid.
Terry Reid
"Stay With Me Baby"

"Silver White Light"

"Friends"

Every moment I wake up I realize I know nothing, and then I smile...
