Usually, I think movies with fighters, singers or other athletes suck. They are usually so limited in their abilities and it shows in the performance. A lot of which could be helped if the director knew how to keep a lot of that subdued.

I'm a pretty big MMA fan, and Gina is in this movie called 'HayWire,' and it actually doesn't look that bad. It appears to have a high production value, and maybe they know her limitations and it turns out ok?

It's not coming out till January, but I'll probably check it out.

a bit cheesy but alright, still a decent watch.

"Need for Speed", I'd give it 7/10. Would have given higher but they made some major mistakes in the technical details for no reason (could have easily been more accurate, like saying the Shelby would do 230mph). But this kind of movie isn't about that, it was still fun and I like the main guy Aaron Paul (from Breaking Bad).

Some decent acting for this type of movie. Nothing "spectacular" so to speak. Reminded me a bit of Redline, but much better put together. I love cars so for me anything with a bit of racing etc in it is interesting, even if the movie sucks lol.

Furious 7 - Official Trailer (HD) - YouTube

Would be interesting to see how they've dealt with the death of Paul Walker. I'm looking forward to watching this.

If I could only find Oscar Goldman and ask him to hire Steve Austin for a day to speed trade HFT patterns all day with his bionic eye and hands. That would be a new movie: The $600 Million Dollar Club.

I saw john wick. It was a great movie. I'd probably give it a solid 85%. It had a decent story line but the real great part about the movie was the action. It was packed with many very unique gun play sequences. The movie started out with a little intro about johns life up until then and then it enters into a ridiculous montage of crazy gun fights in a martial arts type of fashion. The movie got a better score than the matrix also starring Keanu.

I'd recommend seeing this movie in theaters as it was decent, sentimental since it was about a dog, and had lots of great action. Plus who doesn't like Keanu come on.

I'd heard about it. It'll be a miniseries maybe covering the 2067: Oddysey 3, and ending at 3001: The Final Odyssey. Note that the sequel material is by the late Arthur C. Clarke with no material from Kubrick where they collaborated on "2001". Also an interesting major surprise twist in 3001 based on events of 2001.(trying to be spoiler free; so if you haven't done so already maybe don't read the books until after the series!)

Also hoping Ridley Scott continues with previously announced plans for Blade Runner 2 and Prometheus: "Paradise" sequels.
