I'm excited, but also not sure about this. Unless Jackson and co can get the rights to 'The Silmarillion' and other ancillary works from the Tolkien estate, they don't have as much to work with from the original material of J.R.R. Tolkien's total work.

Finally saw the TDKR over the weekend. Kind of disappointing, like Spiderman 3, stretched out to far and thin. Too many conventional and tired plot devices. Some of the lines were just embarassing in the overall context.
