Has anyone seen The Martian? No spoilers please, I am waiting until it hits Bluray before I watch it, so probably January.

I am hoping it is good! So far IMDB is showing 8.3 which is really fantastic!

I did some Googling and was disappointed to learn there is no sequel planned due to poor box office performance. That is a tragedy, I really thought the story was unique and compelling. And it has Harrison Ford in a sci-fi, come on guys!

It's the best movie of the year IMO. Really funny at times, yet also really suspenseful at other times, great characters, great special effects.
