I know what your talking about. My game of choice is a mod for BF2 called Project Reality. I used to spend so much time playing it, up until a couple of months ago when I got a job .
I have NEVER played it, but some of the guys I know are big fans. They've been telling me to get StarCraft2 for months. I just don't think I'll be into it.
For the last 5 years or so, console only. I have PS3 and Xbox 360. This is mainly because I prefer to play in my living room instead of my office, taking advantage of my 65" screen and sound system
I bought last year's game; Haven't opened it yet. I bought a PS3 just for that game, but I haven't even opened that box. Thanks for reminding me, I find TW quite soothing.
I haven't really played computer games in years. Although I was pretty excited about the updated versions of Monkey Island 1 & 2. Those are by far the best games ever made! How I miss the glory days of LucasArts...
I've also spent a few hours with Championship/Football Manager over the years. I think it built a good foundation for my trading...

I have it. That's one tough game. I like to think of myself as a person that thrives in competition. But SC2 is on a totally different level. I guess I'm just kicking myself in the shin. I want to move up the leader board, but I don't want to put in the time to get that good.
I didn't play the original of this game, never heard of it before a few months ago. And the gameplay footage I've seen of it I'm not all that impressed. The gameplay footage I've seen, visually wasn't that stunning either. But this game seems to have one of those amazing plots and concepts that come along every once and a while. Also the trailers for the game are some of the most interesting I've ever seen. So much so that I will probably be getting this game despite my lack of enthusiasm for the footage I've seen. I'm a sucker for a good plot I guess.
